The event being held by the Canadian Club of Regina will be a presentation by Senator Patricia Bovey — on the late afternoon of Thursday, March 2, 2023 in the second-floor Agra/Torchinsky Lounge of the MacKenzie Art Gallery; reception at 3:30p.m.; speaker at 4 p.m.
To cover costs, charge an admission fee of $15 Canadian Club members; $20 for non-members.

Patricia Bovey was appointed to the Senate of Canada in November 2016 as an Independent Senator from Manitoba. She has served on the Foreign Affairs & International Trade Committee, as well as being the former Deputy-Chair of the Transport and Communications Committee, and former Deputy Chair of the Special Senate Committee on the Arctic.She is chair of the Senate Artwork and Heritage Advisory Working Group, Deputy Chair of the Social Affairs, Science and Technology Committee and a member of the Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration Committee. She has taken a keen interest in Bill S-208, An Act respecting the Declaration on the Essential Role of Artists and Creative Expression in Canada .We have asked her to speak on this.
