La Troupe du Jour
La Troupe du Jour is a professional, not-for-profit organization that develops theatre in Saskatchewan through creation, training, production and presentation. This framework of activities is set out in the charter instituted in October 1987 and revised in September 2007. The company is dedicated to the development of French-language theatre in Saskatchewan. In this connection, through its leadership role in playwriting, the company is working to create and develop an original dramaturgy for Western Canada. View Website
Last Mountain Lake Cultural Centre
Housed inside the Last Mountain Lake Cultural Centre are two art galleries (the Elsie Scherle Art Gallery), two workshop/classroom spaces, a regional library, and studio spaces. Listen to Dis Community Arts Organization Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization that equips and enables disabled people to create and participate in art, for the betterment of their health, for recreation, and for the development of themselves as emerging and professional artists. Listen to Dis Community Arts Organization serves people of all ages, from adolescents through elders, who live with a range of disabilities, including psychiatric disabilities; cognitive and learning disabilities; physical disabilities; addictions; environmental sensitivities; chronic pain or disease; and physical, mental, and/or emotional disabilities from the adverse impacts of medication. The organization’s main objective is to continue to create a sustainable, inclusive cross-ability arts organization and community in Saskatchewan to host practices, projects, programming, and performance.
