Kelly Hill Coming to Regina: Arts and Culture in Saskatchewan: Stats and Gaps
“What happens over the next decade will be critical in determining the kind of culture we’ll have in the future.”
Insightful words spoken by Robert Enright, cultural journalist and art critic at the 2012 Arts Congress that spurs us to act now for a bright future. Help us make the arts matter. We have an important upcoming event and you’re invited to participate.
Come hear Kelly Hill, of Hill Strategies Research, present Arts and Culture in Saskatchewan: Stats and Gaps. With an exceptional understanding of arts disciplines, the situation of artists, and the contribution of the arts to Canadian society, Hill will discuss the hard numbers of the arts and culture within the province.
Following Hill's keynote address, SAA will launch the Arts Ecology Research project. This project came out of the need for factual information about the important role artists play in our society. This is a call to action to all artists, help us show the arts matter, please come and participate in the focus groups to ensure this project is on track and will strengthen our advocacy.
RSVP by February 25th as seating is limited.
